If we post two Photos of the Week because they’re both perfectly sunny shots, will summer last longer? Probably not, but we are still excited to show off these two scenes in the sun--and their creators.
Rufusni snapped this great shot, at right, of a tiny Amalfi beach in Campania, Italy. We love how the bright colors of the umbrellas are echoed in pastel by the roofs of the buildings above.
A few hours and countries northwest, cflecker captured the sun on the Channel off Brighton Pier.
The almost monochromatic look of the photo, below, makes the interesting shadows on
the boardwalk stand out and really focuses the eye on the sunlit water.
We have a feeling this will be a favorite classic Photo of the Week post for some of our Northern Hemispherians in about, oh, 6 months. Enjoy!
