Pat O'Brien's

718 St. Peter Street, New Orleans, Louisiana 70116

Featured Review : Not a Breeze, nor a Squall. The drink to have at Pat O'Brien's is its very own Hurricane, the dark rum and fruit juice concoction that has resulted in more Bourbon Street vomiting than possibly any other. Dating back ...See Full Review

Quote: Pat O'Briens is the place to sample a hurricane in New Orleans. It is divided into three seperate venues, the regular bar area, the piano bar and the courtyard (where the gift shop is located). We sat in the piano bar. Two pianos are set up on... Read the full Pat O'Brien's review

Quote: They have very good food. I highly recommend the Hurricane. It is a must and has several different bars to hang out at. There is a very nice piano bar. They have a great and friendly staff, and it is right on Bourbon.

Quote: This is a typical place where you can find businessmen coming for a drink after a hard convention day sitting next to a guy in his 20's on holidays with friends. Basically, it has two sectors, an open one in the back and a "bar" at the front. In... Read the full Pat O'Brien's review

Quote: I think it’s against the law to leave New Orleans without having had a hurricane at Pat O’Brien’s. I didn’t want to get arrested, or buck a trend, so I headed off to the famous establishment to partake of this famous drink. It was about 9pm on a... Read the full Pat O'Brien's review

Quote: This is well worth the price, but don't get suckered into buying the glasses -- it seems like a great idea at the time, but then you get home and wonder what to do with them! We like to go in the late afternoon and sit beside the fountain. At... Read the full Pat O'Brien's review

Quote: My favourite bar in New Orleans! At the corner of Royal street and St. Peter Street. You get in through a huge door and walk through the bar (dark and all made of brick) before reaching the courtyard and its magical with its nice fountain and lights... Read the full Pat O'Brien's review

Quote: Pat O's is a raucous place, and no trip to the French Quarter is complete without at least one visit to try their trademark drink, the Hurricane. The bouncers and bartenders were very friendly. Pat O's is one of the neighborhood places that stays... Read the full Pat O'Brien's review

Quote: Yes, it's crowded. Yes, it's touristy. Yes, there are better mixed drinks to be had elsewhere. But Pat O'Brien's (504.525.4823) is still a cool place to relax and enjoy a frosty beverage. If it's not too hot outside and you can find a table, the... Read the full Pat O'Brien's review

Quote: Pat O’Briens is the home of the famous (or infamous if you ever had too many of them on an empty stomach) Hurricane—a fiery red concoction of alcohol and fruit juice served in a tall glass with several straws (with a $6 or so pricetag). Pat O’s is... Read the full Pat O'Brien's review
