Visitors seeking a bird's eye view of the town can always go hang gliding, or take one of the many trips up Interlaken's neighboring mountains. Harder Kulm offers terrific vistas, while the century-old railway to the top of the Jungfraujoch takes you over 11,000 ft. above sea level.
The St. Beatus-Hohlen Caves are another popular spot to visit. Once occupied by a legendary dragon, this network of caves lets you plunge over 3,000 feet into the Alps, weaving past stalactites and stalagmites and watching out for bats.
