The Venice of America, Fort Lauderdale is a great alternative to the craziness of its northern neighbor, Miami. Don’t get s wrong- the Fort has plenty of attractions; IgoUgo members love the Museum of Discovery and Science. Fort Lauderdale weather is superb, with little variation between 70-80 degrees every day. Beaches and shops infuse the city, and if you are looking to get out to the surrounding area like Hollywood and the Everglades, the water taxi is a great mode of transportation. The city itself has so much to offer, though, tons of things to do make Fort Lauderdale a top vacation spot in Florida.
