The Olympics, the Super Bowl, and now.... the first annual World Food Championships. In true
Las Vegas fashion,
Bally's will host the annual competition to see which chef can out broil, bake, and fry the competition.
Celebrity chef Adam Richman will host the competition that will take place from November 1-4. The competition will be sliced into different round, including BBQ, side dishes, and desserts, and the lucky grill master that out competes the others will take home the cash prize.
The World Food Championships will bring visibility to the often obscured view of chefs, but not just anyone can enter the brawl. Chefs are either given a bid, or must qualify at a qualifying event to be entered in. This way, the food is ensured to be top quality, but any average Joe can enter if he or she is skilled enough. The event will be judges by a panel of both celebrities and professional chefs; no news on who gets to eat the leftovers.
