Unfortunatley the construction going on outside the hotel prvented you from getting to the Bund and enjoying the sights of Shanghai.\n\nThe immediate vicintiy is of the old part of the city so it is quite dirty around the perimiter of the hotel. If you are ona atight budget and are only leaving via taxi or bus, not a bad value

Quote: this was the worst hotel i ever stayed at....the rooms(i llooked at 4 of them) were utterly fillthy-carpets black with dirt, the cockroaches were running around my room; the entire hotel smelled of paint and chemicals; the elevators were not working most of the passageways were either filthy or missing carpets and there was NOT ONE REDEEMING ASPECT to this hotel
Quote: I stayed five nights in this hotel. Main complaint, the windows were filthy. I complained every day, sometimes more than once a day, and each time the staff assured they would be cleaned. Personnel even visited the room twice and promised to follow up with a cleaning. Nothing was ever done. I hope the subsequent tenant had better luck.
