I don't ususally write reviews, but I wish I would have been able to read some before we booked our Cancun trip. The JW Marriott was great. The hotel was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. Everyone that worked at the hotel was very nice. Regarding the pictures on the website, if anything, pictures don't do the place justice. The pool is incredible, overlooking the blue water and white sand. The rooms were very nice as well. The only issue we had was with the wireless internet, as we couldn't seem to get a good signal. But they did have a business center that could be used. I would definitely stay there again.

Wow, what a great hotel. We were upgraded to a large beautiful suite. The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to meet our every need. We had an exceptional dinner at their italian restaurant-great food and great service. The only thing missing was the lack of a beach. It was a unique experience, however, to feel like you were a part of the ocean because it was right on top of you. We can't wait to return.

5 diamond hotel lives up to it's rating. I did'n visit the fitness facility. Pool and beach were wonderful. Service was awesome. I felt like Paris Marriott.

Traveling with 2 teenagers can be a pretty rough experience but with the amenities, service & staff it was a really great trip.
Here's a quick note ~ if you're there to relax & tan, the property is beautiful. However, the lounge chair to guest ratio is a little off and the hotel casts a shadow across most of these by 2pm (at least our stay 11/25 - 12/2). So we'd tan until 2 and then go into town to shop/explore.
Food is tasty and pricey. Drinks were great...and pricey. We spent most of our meals at local restaurants so it wasn't too painful on the wallet.
We're not really the resort type of family so we may have a different view than others who have posted review, but I can tell you for sure
* the staff was extremely attentive and friendly
* the grounds are immaculate
* exchange rate is better than the exchange houses
* atmosphere is quiet ~ piano bar singers instead of party music
If we decide to go the resort route on the next trip to Cancun, we're definitely going to stay there.
