Quote: My wife and I stayed Feb 4-6 2010. The staff were great. The hotel did everything that a fine hotel ought to do without pretension. The room was clean, the bed was lovely. We give a hearty recommendation!
Quote: I have stayed at the Holiday in many times an all my stays were good. The hotel is in a great location. Staff is great. Will be back
Quote: This hotel is NOT worth the money. The lobby smelled like mold and the breakfast was way to expensive for the quality of the food. Would not stay here again.
Quote: The hotel was very nice and located across the street from the Bayside Market. We spent our evening listening to live area music by the bay and shopping at the mall. The mall has a nice food court with a variety of food choices reasonably priced. Check out the Hard Rock- we loved the drinks and atmosphere! We stayed pre cruise and were very pleased with the location close to the port. Beds were VERY comfortable!!!
Quote: It was Superbowl Sunday. After the game we went downstairs to have a drink at the bar but they were closing up as soon as the game had ended. No one on staff had the decency to acknowledge us. Finally a friendly guest nearby informed us the bar had just closed. The staff all acted like they just wanted to go home. We made our way to Bayside to enjoy a postgame cocktail by the pier. Holiday Inn lost points for shuttering their guest amenities before 10 p.m.
Quote: close to port of miami.. room was great with wonderful view!! will for sure visit property again in the future!
Quote: We were staying in this hotel for one night to catch a cruise. An over priced hotel, with mold in the bathroom sink, smelled smokey, and the room was cold, they did not have heat, after a rain storm where the streets were flood, the room smelled of mildew. I am a travel agent and would not recommend this hotel to any of my travelers. Desk Rep did not smile and when you walk to the desk they hurried to get on the phone. We had to have 4 extra blankets sent to the room, just to sit up and play cards. After cutting off the air, it finally got warm around 8:00am in time enough to check out.
Quote: This was one of the priciest hotels I have stayed in and one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. As soon as we walked in, we gagged because the whole place smelled like a moldy basement. I think the humidity was just getting into everything and they do not do a good job of maintaining the place. We paid $*/night for this place with tax and it is absolutely the most overpriced place I have ever seen. My comforter had stains and I felt disgusting just getting into my bed becase the sheets were rough and felt like they hadn"t been washed.
Quote: We really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn. The room was clean and we had an amazing view of the port - we saw our cruise ship when we woke up in the morning. The hotel was right across the street from the Bayside Mall, where we spent a lot of time.
Quote: The lobby was nice. The hallways and rooms need a good dose of some fresh air. The elevators were terrible. We had to hail our own taxi from the sidewalk. Not recommended even at the price.
