Just as a brief intro for folks who've never been on an all-inclusive dining plan, palate beware. If you're a burgers and cheese fries sorta eater, you'll be in heaven. If your taste runs more towards Napa Valley, five-star, Zagat-rated eateries, definitely ignore Moon Palace. Most of us, I assume, would have tastes that range somewhere in-between the two extremes.

I'd say that the drinks at Moon Palace were adequate. They had fun drinks such as Sex on the Beach, Pina Colada, Margarita, and a bunch of banana concoctions. The only beer they serve is XX, so don't bother ordering Busch or Miller beer. There are two kinds of white wine and two kinds of red wine-both drinkable, though not spectacular. The alcohol added to the "fun" drinks is minimal, which is just fine with us. It definitely cuts down on disgusting behavior. However, you could always tip a buck or two to get maximal alcohol content.

The freshly grilled steaks/burgers are great. The guacamole concoctions are fabulous! The food that sits out in the servers is dangerously gross. Don't bother with them. At night, the two "gourmet" restaurants are so-so, but nothing to write home about. Overall, it's definitely cheaper to join an all-inclusive plan, but your taste buds may not appreciate your choices after 7 days. It's worth a try if you've never done it, but it's not all it's cracked up to be.
