A beautiful all-inclusive vacation with relaxation and fun.

Best Things Nearby:
If we go back, we won't even leave the resort. We did venture into Cancun and found that the activities were things we could do back at home. Since our vacation was to relax, we went back to the resort. There are sightseeing tours to the various Mayan ruins, but the trips were day-long. We will probably do one of these if we return, but we just needed to unwind this trip.

Best Things About the Resort:
Oh, where to start? The room itself was beautiful - jacuzzi overlooking the pool and the ocean. This was my first all-inclusive trip and I liked not having to carry anything with me. The food was EXCELLENT, and there is a small lounge off of the main lobby that had a live band nightly. It wasn't crowded at all - in fact, we had our own private dance floor. Very romantic. The pool was beautiful and the poolside service (drinks and also the restaurant) were great.

Resort Experience:
Beautiful atmosphere, very peaceful, relaxing, and romantic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you go, definitely spend 10 minutes just to orient yourself to the large property. We did ride the shuttles to the various other properties in Cancun because we wanted to see the city. If we had to do it again, however, we wouldn't leave the resort. A lot to do right on property. Nightly activities and always something going on if you know where to find it. Shows each night as well. We didn't take our teenagers, but would love to go back with them.
