The title of lo7la’s new travel journal, The Adventure Queen, refers to her Down Under destination, but it suits the daredevil writer equally well: her experiences rafting, bungee jumping, and luging in Queenstown, New Zealand, are royally wild.
"I say if you are going to do it, then do it big," she explains, and she does. Her white-water-rafting adventure saw someone go overboard (and then get rescued); her bungee jump was the “longest jump you can do in New Zealand;” and her first-ever luge run was “800 meters of fast-paced downhill luging” on a track where “it's everyone for themselves.”
Just reading about lo7la’s sports-filled days is exhausting. Luckily, her taste for adventure extends to meals, so the beer lover also shares her Queenstown eating and drinking establishments of choice—places that provide the perfect fuel for some epic adrenaline rushes.
