Nothing is impossible you set your own barriers but just remember we are of a corporeal being not an immortal soul.

About Me: I am open to all experiences life has to offer. Cultures are different the world over, some are separated only by a hill but are completely different. People hold onto the material for too long. There are no pockets in caskets but pieces of gold are nice to have but lose their glint over time you have things on loan in life and then give it all back for someone else to cherish.

More About Autumngolightly

I travel because...

I have travelled extensively for over 20 years, was very daring when young Mt Everest at 21 years of age and India, A young blonde! It gives a different aspect to life and you realise the world is a lot smaller than it seems. I am half Australian and half Slovakian so Europe interests me and with the fall of Communism I am learning about a culture alien to me, but close to my heart.

I love to travel to...

at least once a year in 2009 it is for 3 months a long sojourn Central and Eastern Europe about 8 countries in total, 2006 it was for 6 months, 2005, 2 weeks in Bali, 2003, 2 months, in New Zealand and Tasmania, 1995 was 2 weeks in Vanuatu. 1985 Western Europe and Eastern Block Germany before the crumbling wall about 6 months. 1984 England and Ireland hitchhiking. 1983 Nepal, Himalayas and India for six months.

I never forget to pack...

A socket adaptor x 2 in Europe there are a few different types of plug so you know we live in the interenet age, so notebook not laptop and cabin luggage only.

My weirdest travel habit is...

Dress as normal as possible and dont look like a pack packer. People treat you better. I look international not Australian so when I arrive in Germany they think I am German, When I am in France they think I am Austrian or American. In Switzerland they think I'm Norwegian and the Italians think I'm French and in Korea they think I am from Finland so how crazy is that! I have a habit of taking photos of the most unusual from a light fitting in Milan to the tiles in Notredame.

It's my dream to travel to...

Iceland and Antartica, I have been perusing travel and need to make a plan for these places shortly, usually I plan 6 months ahead for travel.

When I'm not traveling...

I work in Palliative care as a registered nurse and also on the other hand work in Maternity so I have welcomed babies into the world sometimes I am the first person they see, on the other hand I am the last person people see. Your life is fluid and not so long... SO LIVE IT TOO the full. Apart from this I live on a small holding and grow my own fruit and vegies and they taste a darn lot better.

I also travel online at...

Well I'll let you know...
