Extra charges

The hotel charges $14.95 in addition to the quoted rate for extra ammenities such as internet access, local telephone, and pool use. Problem is that I didn't use any of these but still had to pay. The charge is pure profit for the hotel and takes the facility out of the running for a reasonable room rate. Think twice about staying at a property that is considering bankruptcy. Room and facilities were good quality. I just didn't like getting blindsided by the extra fee.

The new buffet was great!! The place is very clean and if you don't mind staying off strip this is the place. I will stay here every time we come to Vegas from now on!

Passable for an Exhausted Traveler

I arrived pretty late to my hotel room, which smelled like damp smoke. The comforter was unattractive and the overall room was passable. It reminded me of a lower-end Days Inn. The casino arena was more appealing than the room itself. I will say that security was great and made me feel safe with a guard posted at the elevators leading to the hotel rooms. You really can't beat the price, especially as a one-night Saturday arrival...

Excellent value

This hotel offers an excellent value for the price. We like to stay on an upper floor (11th or higher) to get a good view. Staff is very friendly. The buffets are excellent. There is even a $3.00 blackjack table for beginners. $5.00 blackjack tables are also readily available. This was our second stay at this hotel and it was very enjoyable.

DISAPPOINTED

We were charged $100 per night to stay at this hotel and I Feel cheated. The rooms were dirty and dingy. The bedspread was filthy and we asked to have it replaced after the first night. The bathtub was dirty and was so old that it probably could not be cleaned properly. We ate in the buffet the first night and the food was so bad that we never returned. I got a piece of the tilapia fish which was spoiled and smelled so bad that I couldnt eat it. To add insult to injury, they hit me with a service charge of $5.40/night. When I complained, they explained that this was to cover the cost of 800 calls and coupons. I didnt make any calls and they never gave me any coupons. I will avoid this place like the plague in the future.
