We did not visit the zoo on this trip, as my Florida brother said it was too costly. He believed the price of admission was $24 each, and his small family of 3 usually spent around $80 for a visit. While the zoo has many interesting features (see website), the heat of Panhandle summers makes the animals pretty lethargic. The Florida brother recommends this activity for a spring, fall or winter visit.
