We love getting to know new IgoUgo members, and one favorite way to do that is to check out their completed member profiles, especially their answers to the “travel dream” question (after reading about a “weirdest travel habit,” of course). So when nofootprint became a member in August, we couldn’t help but notice that she wrote, “It has always been my dream to go on an African safari.” Well, get ready for some instant gratification, because she already made her dream a reality and is telling us all about her trip to Tanzania.
Reading her journal Tanzania Safaris to the Magic of Zanzibar, it’s hard not to feel the excitement of fulfilling a travel dream. And with 18 reviews and 123 photos, nofootprint does a formidable job of covering the country’s vastly different regions and people; we learned quite a bit about East Africa, including what happens to leftover beer brewed by the Kilimanjaro region’s Chagga tribe. (Hint: it may result in cows tipping.)
