GutsyTraveler.com offers tips, resources, and statistics for women traveling together, solo, or with their families. Women’s Adventure magazine explores adventure travel with a femme slant. Even popular travel sites like GoNOMAD have devoted entire sections to women’s travel. It’s enough to get the attention of the New York Times, who recently published an article exposing the strong female influence on the travel experience, and American Airlines, who have just become the first airline to devote a portion of their website to women travelers. Looks like girl power is spreading its wings.
